According to NBC News, police in New Jersey have recently broken up a party that included a multitude of young people that gathered despite the quarantine protocol that is leading millions of Americans to stay at home in order to flatten the curve. This comes as a shock to many in the comment section on Reddit, as the party consisted of 47 people in total, including a DJ. One further incredulous aspect of the situation, the party occurred in a 550 square foot apartment.
Amid the outrage of comments in the various lanes of transmission this article could be found in, are people begging others not to repeat the same mistake these New Jersey residents made. Leaving stories of their own loved ones lost in the tragic pandemic sweeping the nation, it seems that some are still not taking the measures many state governors are taking seriously enough.
